Are you going on an exchange or internship during your studies, but want to continue living in your accommodation when you return?

Many students are on a waiting list to be allocated accommodation and want to sublet for a shorter period.

  • You can sublet your accommodation for up to 6 months to another NMBU student, if you are going on an exchange or internship in connection with your studies
  • Subletting must be approved by SiÅs. You can apply for approval by filling out the form: Apply for subletting
  • You find another student yourself and sign a contract with them. Suggested subletting contract: Subletting contract (only in Norwegian)
  • You are still the official tenant, and responsible for the accommodation and rent in accordance with your tenancy contract

Subletting SiÅs' accommodation

This group is an unofficial platform where students can get in touch with each other to find sublets or accommodation to sublet.

The purpose of the group:

  • Make it easier to find someone to sublet to or from.
  • Provide an overview of student housing that is actually available for a period.
  • Create a meeting place that can help more people get into the desired housing, even with waiting lists.

 

The FB group is not run by SiÅs. It is only a meeting place for students who want to sublet or rent student housing. All subletting must still be approved by SiÅs. Use the group to post when you have a property to sublet, or when you are looking for one. Remember to provide details such as time period, type of housing and contact information.
