Fire safety in the student housing
As a tenant, you are required to read the fire routines and familiarize yourself with extinguishing/warning equipment and fire procedures where you live.
Remember that all escape routes MUST be clear of obstacles. Get to know your nearest escape route.
What do I do in case of fire?
• Notify: Call 110
• Rescue: Notify the others
• Close doors and windows before going out
In the event of an unwanted alarm
Call the fire department immediately on 110 to stop them from arriving at the scene! You have 3 minutes to notify!
If you do not notify the fire department in time, you may risk an invoice of up to NOK 6,000

"Fire safety in the home" is a digital brochure that provides basic knowledge of fire safety in the home, in 39 languages. A brief information film based on the brochure has also been made available in some languages.
This is important information and is also part of the tenancy contract.
