Doctors - The General Practioneer (GP) Program:

All international students who are staying i Norway more than 12 months, have the right to have their personal medical doctor (General Practioneer). If you have questions, contact the Social Consultant, Torgeir Hansen, or call the national office for GP's 810 59 500. Apply for, or change, your GP  here  (in Norwegian only).  You must have received your personal Norwegian ID-number before you can apply for a GP.  It's possible to get in touch with a doctor even if you don't have the ID-number or is staying for less than a year.  Contact the Social Consultant, Torgeir Hansen, tel. 64 94 75 90 or mobile 901 56 440.
